Colour, Aroma, Palate

Pale straw in colour. Aromas of  fresh, ripe pear juice with subtle notes of spicy ginger and cut flowers.  The palate is fleshy and full with a lingering, zesty finish. Hints of white pear with 'sur lie' complexity give a creamy mouthfeel to balance the focused cool climate acidity. 

Winemaking

Our Pinot Grigio is harvested ripe to capture full varietal character. The grapes are gently destemmed without crushing the berries, juice is pressed directly to a stainless steel tank. Fermentation is carried out on light solids to provide a fuller mouth feel with texture and to balance the crisp acidity. 

Cellaring

 Drink now or until 2020.
